This month marks the beginning of a new era for girls hockey in the NW, when the NW Selects Incorporated as a freestanding entity. Named the Northwest Selects Female Hockey Organization, we are incorporated in the State of Oregon. We have our Tax ID from the Federal government and can act like a 501(c)3 while our paperwork goes through the approval process.

Our organization was also voted into the Oregon State Hockey Association as their fifth Affiliate Organization. As such we will be attending OSHA meetings and supporting the growth of female hockey in the entire State and Region.

There are several contributors and supporters to this process. USA Hockey Representatives, Oregon State Hockey Association and multiple talented friends and parents -- too many to name.
