| "Just wanted to drop a note and say how impressed I was with the camp at Tri-Cities. My daughter had a fantastic time and as an observer of several camps/clinics over the past few years, I have to say the format was the most comprehensive and provided my hockey player the best lessons for improving we have seen yet. Best 8 hours of ice time I have paid for yet!!!" |

| "I don't know what the lady doing dry-land training in Kennewick (Robin) did to motivate my daughter but she is a running, doing push ups, sit-ups and loves to wall-sit. Now if I could only get her to clean her room :-)" |

Girls Weekend “Hockey Mini-Camp”
Sponsored by the NW Selects All Female Hockey Program
Saturday & Sunday July 28 - 29 at
Tri-Cities' Toyota Center
Coach - Candace Scott & Kim Lynch
This year's Tri-Cites camp was another great success ...
... over 20 girls from throughout the region joined together to learn from some of the best female coaches in the area. The girls took their dry land training from Chantelle Russell (UofO Athletic Trainer and former DI Player), then hit the ice for 8 hours of non-stop action. There were serious drills, and not so serious drills, but they all made the girls better skaters and players in the end.
The camp ended on a high note with parents and participants alike, leaving tired and happy.
Hope to see you next time.
Coaches included:
- Candace Scott - NW Selects U12 Coach
- Kim Lynch - NW Selects U12 Coach
- Chantelle Russell - Dry land - Former University of Findlay DI player & U of O athletic trainer
- Others - Players from the NW Selects U19 Team
- And a special thanks to Jerry Pickar who was the 'go-to' guy for the camp!
