Girls Weekend “Hockey Mini-Camp”

It was another great event for the girls of the NW. Over 30 skaters showed up for the Portland Mini-Camp to work on their hockey skills under the watchful eye of multiple coaches and trainers.

The camp started with a 2 hour dry land session, run by Chantelle Russell from the University of Oregon Athletic Department. After a good stretch and work out, Coach Tom Peart from Augsburg College ran the girls through multiple skill-developing drills used at the college level.
